Single flowered Hybrid Tea
Unknown parentage
Together with Dainty bess Mrs Oakley Fisher shares the honor of being the most beautiful single petalled Hybrid Tea. One might say unique because that's what they are.
Starting light orange, the petals quickly turn buttery and Sulphury yellow showing their orange stamen. They come in small clusters on an upwards growing, rounded shrub. She can reach 100X100 cm or 3X3 feet, maybe a bit more. She doesn't flip or flop over. The flowers have an unusual strong fresh tea fragrance. Pollinators love the flowers. Blooms in flushes throughout the season. Disease resistant and rain proof. Prefers full sun. Zone 7b to 10b. New growth is Reddish. Probably China ancestors...
A magnificent recommended rose
