Wife of Bath
English rose
The first reblooming English rose and for a very long time the leading lady of the David Austin empire. Today she's almost vanished, it's almost impossible to find her. A damn shame as it's rose history and rose heritage. Wife of Bath had Mme Caroline Testout as a parent and Constance Spry and it shows. Angelic pink /Silvery silky petals, darker pink in the center, very full, in clusters. 100X100 cm or 3X3 feet. Good rebloomer and great health. The blooms don't flop down on the ground. Strong anise fragrance as it's parent Constance Spry. Zone 5b to 9b
She deserves a spot in your garden or in a pot. Always remember that David Austin roses are all very suitable for pot culture.
A strong little wify
