English rose
When I started with roses I was reading all sorts of fancy garden magazines and this rose was always recommended: Pretty Jessica. In the 80ties and nineties this little rose was the summum of old fashioned blooms with lots of fragrance.
Pretty Jessica is a short rounded shrub 100X80 cm or 3X3 feet. The blooms are deep pink with lighter edges. Very full. They have a strong mirrh / old rose fragrance. Zone 5b to 9b. A very healthy rose, blackspot, rust and mildew resistant. Good deadheading and extra organic mulch helps her reblooming.
She was ditched long ago by David Austin nurseries and that's a shame. She had hybrid tea like strong canes so the blooms didn't flop towards the ground.
She's definitely worthwhile to grow if you can find her
