Jeri Jennings

Jeri Jennings, Barden 2003

Hybrids Multiflora (Hybrid Moschata)

This rose makes me happy 😊. It's extremely difficult to breed medium to large flowered Moschata's. History has shown that it's not easy as we only have a few like Felicia or Buff Beauty.
But Paul Barden did it. He combined Joycie with Trier and the result is breathtakingly beautiful. Medium sized golden yellow old fashioned blooms aging into lighter yellows and creams. They look almost exactly like Golden Celebration. The bush is covered with these blooms and they keep coming all summer and autumn. A big bonus is the strong musky spicy fragrance. Vigorous growth up to 200 cm or 7 feet so it makes a big shrub as all Moschata's do. It is said that this rose is 100% disease resistant. Zone 6b to 9b.
Im so sad I can't buy her in Europe but I'm more happy for my American rose friends. Buy her if you can!
