Westerland X Abraham Darby
Oh i love it when two famous and well loved roses are being crossed and with Janet Inada the result is superb! Big, very full, almost rosette shaped blooms in a very warm orange color. The fragrance is strong and delicious and comes from the Abraham Darby parent while the color is definitely Westerland like. Just like it's parents Janet Inada grows rather tall and can be used as a small climber for an Obelisk or fence. She can reach 185 cm easily or 6 feet. She doesn't like too hard pruning so let her go and try to train her horizontally. Blooms very prolific all summer long. Health is great and the rose is quite Hardy zone 5b to 10b
This rose will get lots of Awwwss and wows from visitors in your garden. It's fragrance is very strong citrus with geranium
