Claude Brasseur, Meilland 2006
Hybrid Tea
With Charles de Gaulle and Yves Piaget as parents it isn't hard to guess this rose being extremely fragrant. Silver, mauve, lilac, very filled, very double big blooms on strong stems. Ideal as a cut flower or in borders and pots. Beautiful Hight of 90 cm. She reminds us of Chartreuse de Parme but that one is deeper in color. A healthy and good reblooming variety.
Claude Brasseur, the famous French actor, was the son of Odette Joyeux. Indeed, his famous mother also got a rose named after her. Odette Joyeux is a fab climbing hybrid tea with gorgeous extremely fragrant blooms.
Claude Brasseur is a great example of a 21 century Hybrid Tea with all the smells and bells
