Rosa Helenae
Wild rose, found by Wilson in 1907
Wild species
Rosa Helenae is a rambler and an eco rose because it's blooms and hips attract lots of insects and animals.
Helenae can reach 7 meters and blooms in clusters. The original rose has five white petals and yellow stamen but there are hybrids like Lykkefund or semi plena which have double blooms and are more yellow in the center. They all are very beautiful. There's a lovely scent.
Blooms are followed by thousands of hips.
Excellent as a tree grower, arbors etc...
Very healthy and Hardy.
