Ambridge rose, Austin 1990
This rose, together with Constance Spry and Charles Austin are the only roses I kept in my parents garden. Even after twenty years they still are beautiful.
Ambridge rose had Charles Austin as a parent and we can see it when we look at her magical blooms. Beautiful apricot slowly fading into lighter tones. Very filled, cupped shape.
A rather little rose reaching 110 cm. Very free flowering all summer long. She is a bit susceptible to mildew but nothing serious.
Her fragrance is a strong mirrh, very refreshing.
A beautiful and almost forgotten DA rose. She deserves renewed attention
