Noisette climber
Blush Noisette X Park's Yellow tea scented China
Prefers warm spots, zone 7b to 10b
Royalty from the past; Lamarque was one of the very early Noisettes and she bedazzled thousands of rose lovers in mild climates. Her flowers are very close to those from Devoniensis but with less petals and not so perfectly placed.
They are big, pure white with a very light lemon shade and cupped, aging into flat rosettes. In small clusters they appear as long as it's mild enough so mostly all summer and autumn. Her fragrance is fresh with lemon.
Vigorous with a height of 5 meters or 15 feet. She can take on obelisks, pergola's, arches and even small trees like Lilacs or tall shrubs.
She's suitable for all climates ranging from 7b to 10b but always give her a sunny, warm spot. No pruning, she hates it.
I don't grow her but I saw her in Southern France. A glorious old favorite!
