Hybrid Tea 

My first Hybrid Tea rose. I planted her at my parents garden because I loved the pictures from the catalog back in 1994. The result was so much more than I could have imagined. XL blooms! Yes, larger than Just Joey and maybe even larger than Paul Neyron. So XL blooms 🚫 14 cm or 11 inch, often quartered in this really rich golden yellow to amber. Ridiculously big buds unfolding in the most magnificent HT style. Petals are thick and almost leathery. Vigorous growth up to 180 cm or 6 feet, strong, sturdy canes. Strong fruity fragrance. Quick rebloomer all summer long. Quite healthy for an older Hybrid Tea. Yes she made a big impression on me. One flaw: The blooms tend to ball in very wet weather which lasts for days. Highly recommended rose!
