Dentelle de Bruxelles,
Kiftsgate violett, Lens 1988
Multiflora rambler
The second rose of the Dentelle threesome. Lace from Brussels. Her other name is Kiftsgate Violett because she was a cross between Kiftsgate and Violet Hood, another Lens creation.
Lens succeeded in taming Kiftsgate in this rose but she's still strong growing. 4X4 meters as a minimum. The color comes from Violet Hood which is lavender purple. Small double flowers in clusters adorn the plant. A wonderful sight in full flush. After the flowers the hips appear and there are many! Again this is an ecological rose. No diseases.
