A HT which reminds us of the golden age of the red HT with Papa Meilland, Mr Lincoln, Chrysler Imperial, Ena Harkness, Étoile de Hollande, Crimson glory etc..

All deep red with exceptional fragrance.

Botero tries to honor these famous roses. It has more petals than the old ones resulting in a much more full rose and reminds us of the romantic bloom form. The color is a beautiful deep red.

Such a rose just needs to be very fragrant, its heritage demands it and yes Botero has a very strong citrus damask fragrance

It can get quite high with 120 cm so you don't need to bow too deep to smell her. Her canes can support the blooms easily.

A very healthy rose too with good resistance against blackspot.

Soon after its introduction a climbing sport was discovered which makes the circle compleet because all old famous red HT got a climbing sport which is far superior to the bush form

Searching for a more healthier red HT than the old ones? Try Botero, it has a lot going for it. And it has a climbing version too so this doubles the fun!
