Paul Bocuse, Dominique Massad 1992 for Guillot nurseries
Générosa collection
Modern hybrid
What to say about this rose? Only that it's one of the most beautiful roses of the past decades? The inevitable Charles Austin was a parent but also Graham Thomas and Iceberg and Davidoff. Again it is proven that David Austin roses deliver exceptionally good and beautiful offspring. No other rose has been used that often in breeding programs than Charles Austin but Graham Thomas is a good second
Dominique Massad created a magnificent rose with Paul Bocuse. A vigorous rose with apricot /cream /peach /orange shades. Very nostalgic old fashioned blooms in clusters. They give a very luxurious and lush result. Tall and vigorous this rose can get 100X150 cm. But the shrub can support the many blooms so they don't flop to the ground. A strong fruity fragrance puts the crown on this rose.
Very prolific free flowering and good disease resistance although she can get blackspot in wet summers. Can be used in the border, as a pillar rose or an obelisk rose. Very useful in pots on your terrace or patio.
One of the most beautiful roses! Go and buy my children, you have my blessing!
