China rose
Found on an island in the Lago Maggiore area this rose, together with Hermosa, is my favorite.
Mutabilis is a vigorous healthy climber or big shrub making many thin twigs in abundance. The very pretty blooms are single and in the colors pink and yellow and all in between. A very pretty sight. Blooms non stop and can be used for several purposes. Slightly fragrant. When the plant is in full bloom it is said it attracts many butterflies 🦋
Lens roses used this rose to create their Plaisanterie rose, which is quite similar and also recommended and it's more Hardy.
