Mme Louis L'évêque

Mme Louis L'évêque, L'évêque 1898

Moss

Probably the most beautiful Moss rose. Cream, flesh pink, cupped, very full blooms standing solitary or in pairs on a well rounded shrub of approx 120X70 cm or 4X3 feet. Healthy light green foliage. Strong delicious fragrance. The blooms are unsurpassed in the Moss family but there's a catch: Her petals are so thin, almost shine through thin and there are dozens of them. In wet conditions the flowers won't open and ball. Mine is five years old and always her blooms were glorious but it's better to warn in advance. One of the most beautiful old roses. Zone 6b to 11b
