Seedling of Gloire des Rosomanes
A very short shrub of 60 cm or 2 feet. Light green dense foliage. The blooms are wonderful, old fashioned, red pink rosettes or quartered blooms with an exceptional fragrance. Blooms in flushes throughout the season. Susceptible to mildew. Zone 6b to 9b.
Géant des batailles was often used as a parent plant in breeding programs. It's often forgotten now because of its short growing habit but it's especially beautiful in pots on a terrace.
