Baronne Henriette Snoy, Bernaix 1897
Tea
Gloire de Dijon X Madame Lombard
A rose of immens beauty and fragrance. Silvery pink to apricot buds, in the typical Tea shape, opening to quartered, almost flat blooms. They look like those of her parent Gloire de dijon. Strong, delicious perfume.
A rather short Tea reaching 1 meter or three feet, maybe a little bit more. Reblooms good and health is good too although she can get mildew in very dry spots without a breeze
She's quite Hardy for a Tea: Zone 6b and warmer
Baronne Henriette Snoy not 'de' is the name given by Bernaix in his catalogue.
Daughter of baron Georges Snoy and comtesse Alix du Chastel de la Howarderie, her husband, the Comte Fritz (Frédéric van den Steen de Jehay), is minister plenipotentiary of Belgium at Luxembourg in 1902.
