Vichy

Vichy, Delbard 2011

Floribunda

Parents unknown

A rose that deserves much more attention.
Very cupped, ball shaped, white with light blush in the center blooms. They stand in clusters of five or six on upright, sturdy branches without tipping over. Scent is strong, nutty with lemon and grapefruit notes, refreshing.
A well balanced, medium size shrub of approx 100 X 80 cm or 3X3 feet. Bushy and with rather dark green healthy foliage. Ideal for borders and especially pots. Combines well with perennials in most colors. Heat and rain tolerant, zone 6b to 9b

Vichy reminds me of the more early English roses from David Austin, before they started to produce only more of the same mediocre roses.
Vichy is highly recommended
