Lady of Megginch

Lady of Megginch, Austin 2006

English rose /Modern Hybrid

Parentage: Undisclosed

A rose with a very deep pink color and a strong old rose raspberry fragrance. The blooms are big, very full and stand in small clusters on rather arching stems. She can reach 120X100 cm or 4X3 feet and due to the weight of the big, puffy flowers they tend to hang down towards the ground so she really benefits from support. Blooms in flushes throughout the season. Zone 6b to 9b en overall good health. Needs full sun to thrive. Perfect as a border rose, pots and cut flower.

She was named after The Baroness of Megginch castle in Perth, Scotland, who was a great rose and garden lover.
She's hard to find in the EU
