Moschata/Multiflora Hybrid
Lens Roses in Flanders, Belgium 🇧🇪, is the leading nursery when it comes to Moschata hybrids. They are the Pemberton of this age but they create much more and much healthier cultivars.
Comtesse André d'Oultremont produces masses of medium sized, double blooms in clusters. The color is the most pastel /Champagne like color. They have a nice fragrance of herbs and flowers. Blooms are produced with great ease and the plant is seldom without blooms and this until deep into autumn.
It's a rather low, rounded shrub of 60X60 cm or 2X2 feet, maybe a bit more. Very beautiful in groups of four, as a low hedge, in pots and even as a tree rose. Health is superb and hardiness is zone 6b to 9b
The rose was named after Countess André d'Oultremont who shared a great passion for roses.
