Bengal/China Hybrid
Seedling of Général Jacqueminot
One of the darkest roses ever created with medium to large semi double blooms. The color is extremely dark purple leaning towards black. Thin slender stems make a shrub 90X70 cm or 3X2 feet. Typical China growth. Because of the dark color it's best to protect her against afternoon sun, morning sun is perfect. Shade and rain tolerant. Strong exotic fragrance.
Louis XIV blooms, as all Chinas, continously through summer and autumn.
Zone 7b to 10b
A magnificent beauty.
