Modern Climber
Sometimes breeders pick up the work where rose breeders in the 19th century stopped. The creation of old roses came to a stop when the Hybrid teas became all the rage.
Guillot succeeded in creating a climbing centifolia that keeps blooming all summer. Very very special. Even more strange is the strong pink, magenta to carmine color the quartered blooms have which is unseen with the old centifolias. To make it complete they exude an extreme strong centifolia/damask/old rose fragrance. Can climb up to three meter or 9 feet. Ideal for hot walls, pergola's and obelisks. Enjoys full hot sun ☀. Zone 6b to 9b
A real miracle this rose and I bought it. It's only a pity it's parentage isn't mentioned.
