Apricot Nectar

Apricot Nectar, Boerner 1964

Floribunda / Grandiflora

One of the most popular roses in the eighties and nineties because of its very free flowering loose apricot flowers and a delicious fruity fragrance. I don't know why it isn't popular anymore, it deserves renewed attention. Boerner was a great rose breeder and I want to honor his legacy. Apricot nectar is simply put a good garden rose with many good features. Large, double loose petals in a stunning apricot color. In clusters and they appear freely. Upright slender growth 120X70 cm or 4X3 feet. For such an old rose she's pretty healthy. Zone 5b to 9b.
Never don't buy a rose because she's not in fashion or old. We buy roses because they are good and give satisfaction. Apricot Nectar is such a rose
