Hybrid Tea, Märchen collection
With Alexandra, Princesse de Luxembourg, Kordes shows us his masterful skills in rose breeding. Indeed, this rose is something else, a real Märchen or fairytale
Light pink, darker center, very full, old fashioned blooms in clusters. 🚫 4 inch or 10cm. Bushy upright growth 120X70 cm or 4X3 feet. The blooms are held on stiff canes and don't flop over like so many David Austin roses. Moderate fruity fragrance. Continously blooming in summer and big part of autumn. Very healthy. People from Sweden, Finland and Poland tell me this rose is extremely frost resistant and is a real blooming powerhouse. Far better than many DA roses.

The Märchen or fairytale collection combines exquisite old fashioned blooms with continuous flowering and bad weather resistance. Indeed, Alexandra is very rain resistant.
