Marie Dermar

Marie Dermar, Geschwind 1888

Noisette

Better than Mme Alfred Carrière? Maybe, but she's definitely more repeat flowering as her much more famous sister. So why is Marie Dermar not more widely known? Well I've told it time and time again: There are countless incredible beautiful roses out there waiting to be (re) discovered.

Marie Dermar has exquisite very filled rosette /quartered blooms in a white with pinkish shade color. They appear in clusters on a vigorous plant that can reach 400 cm. She reminds us of Souvenir de la Malmaison but is far better. She reblooms non stop and yes they have a very strong citrus fragrance.
This noisette is Hardy zone 6b and warmer

Dirk's opinion:

Mme Alfred Carrière is a beautiful and good rose but Marie Dermar has more beautiful flowers and repeats better. She's just waiting to get a chance in your garden. Try her.
Available in the EU at Lens, André Eve, and others
