Guirlande d'amour, Lens roses 1993
Climbing hybrid Multiflora
The most famous Moschata hybrid by Lens has small semi-double flowers in large pyramidal clusters of up to 80 flowers. The white flowers open flat and sometimes show their yellow stamens, when it rains the flowers recover quickly and are never untidy. Very fragrant with continuous flowering character.
'Guirlande d'Amour' is known to most garden enthusiasts as a climbing rose. We can classify them with the small-flowered climbing roses and these have the advantage that they are well positioned in the leaves and also bloom well at the bottom of the plant. As a shrub it behaves as an upright shrub with slightly overhanging branches. Ideal for planting as a solitary plant, between other shrubs or as a hedge.
The bright green foliage is disease resistant. Zone 6b to 9b. Up to 300 cm or 9 feet. The best reblooming white cluster flowering climber. Highly recommended!
