The old cabbage rose, made immortal by the Flemish and Dutch painters of the 17th century. Puffy, deep pink, very full, cupped flowers on an arching flamboyant shrub. Tall and bushy 150 X 100 cm or 5 X 3 feet.
Good flush in early summer and some scattered blooms afterwards. Hates rain as the flowers ball in wet conditions. In dry, warm conditions she's a real stunner. Very strong fragrance. Zone 6b to 11b
