Blossomtime, O'Neal pré 1951
Large flowered Wichuraiana hybrid
A very peculiar rose. A cross between New Dawn and an unknown rose. Can be used as a large shrub and as a climber and then she can reach 350 cm. For being a Wichuraiana hybrid this rose has extraordinary blooms. They look almost identical to those of La France except for a more silvery/white shade. They are perfectly formed with many petals. They exude a strong sweet fragrance. Some friends in the USA say this rose is very drought and mildew resistant and is a Goddess when in full flush. Blooms in flushes throughout the season. A rose that deserves a lot more attention
