Belle Amour

Alba (Damask) hybrid 

Found in a catholic monastery in 1840 Belle Amour is still a very good reliable garden rose.
Rounded shrub 150 X 100 or 5X 4 feet with light green foliage. Carmine red buds open into pink to coral pink double blooms in clusters. This color is unique to the old roses. They exude a fresh mirrh fragrance
Blooms for five weeks but as always in full abundance. Healthy and reliable. Good hardiness 3b to 9b. Shade tolerant.
